Exciting news for College League (CL) players! This year, our CL Officer Annie Lyons has designed a new format of competition to encourage more players to join the league and help them develop their skills in a more integrated community. The league will begin In Lent term, with Michaelmas being dedicated to developing player skills in training sessions run by Blues and Panthers players once a week at the Kelsey Kerridge Sports Centre. The sessions will be open to all those interested, at a small fee in order to cover court booking. This change has been motivated by a desire to create a more integrated community of women and non-binary people around the sport of basketball, and a belief that this new format will allow players to develop better than the one that was in place before. More information on this new system will be made available soon, including inscription, fees and training times. Keep an eye on the College League tab and follow CUWBbC on social media (Facebook and Instagram) to keep up to date with the latest news.

How did the new format introduced in the 2018-19 College League by Cambridge University Women's Boat Club impact participation and outcomes?
